FANS GUIDE

This Transportation Guide is designed to help you successfully plan your travel and parking for events at Qwest Field, Qwest Field Event Center and the WaMu Theater.

Please note the continuing work on the SR519 project just south of Qwest Field.  This construction may cause delays and we strongly recommend allowing for extra time when planning your trip.

To enhance your event-day experience, the Seahawks and Qwest Field have teamed with Metro and Sound Transit to provide quick and convenient bus and rail service from locations throughout the region.

Transportation options for Qwest Field include:

Metro Bus Service
Metro has you covered with over 15 daily bus routes that stop within 3 blocks of Qwest Field.

If you plan to take Metro Transit, remember that weekend service is limited. Be prepared for traffic delays in the downtown and SODO areas and expect crowded buses, both before and after the game.

Fans can plan their bus trip by visiting: http://metro.kingcounty.gov/

Starline Bus Service
Starline Luxury Coaches will operate Seahawks game day shuttle bus service from the Eastgate Park & Ride Lot in Bellevue. Fares will be $4 each way, or $8 round trip. Fans should look for Starline buses, as they will operate the same direct to Qwest Field service as Metro Transit has done in the past.

The park-and-ride service will begin two hours prior to the scheduled kickoff of each 2009 home game, with buses departing every 20 minutes. The final in-bound buses will depart approximately 50 minutes prior to kickoff. Buses returning to Eastgate following each contest will depart from 5th Avenue between King and Weller Streets with the final departure taking place 45 minutes after the game ends.

ST Express Bus Service
Sound Transit bus service offers transportation from areas throughout Pierce, King and Snohomish counties with service every 30 minutes and stops within 3 blocks of Qwest Field.

Sounder Rail Service
From Tacoma and Everett with stops in between, the Sounder Trains will operate for every Sunday game with service to King Street Station, just a football field away from the stadium.

Book your tickets early, as game days on the train fill up quickly!
Visit the Amtrak Cascades website for all information on fares, schedules and online reservations, or call (800) USA-RAIL.
